Round 2 of layoffs should begin at the end of the year. It might be a good time for a change.
I was very tired this morning. The layoff is extremely stressful.
I stopped by two places that bring back some memories. The first is Rogers Time Machine. I get the family discount for buying comics and other items. I have been going there for over fifteen years. He has very good deals on back list comics. He also has lots of "ground level" comics which are the kind of comics I collect. They have gotten much more expensive. It is nostalgic.

The other place I looked around was The Soho Gallery For Digital Art. I like to look around before I go to events and see how the place is laid out. It is a small space. The upstairs has digital screens around the walls with different digital art. Some of it is fantasy art and other parts are photojournalistic pictures right now. It feels very comfortable. It is also an event space. The downstairs has a screen and comfortable chairs to show movies or shows. On Saturday, December 11, 2010, they are showing a special free screening of Black Butler Episodes 1-6.http://sohodigart.com/calendar.php
Visiting the space was nostalgic for me. The owner of the space, John Ordover used to stop by when I hung out many years ago at Science Fiction, Mysteries, and More. It is like stepping into a bygone decade.
