An 80s fasion flashback

I am a child of the 80s.

I grew up watching MTV, with all the hair bands, skinny jeans, and wild accessories. Van Halen, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Cyndi Lauper.

When people say that "history repeats itself," it's true.

Walking through some department stores the other day, I saw skinny jeans, patterned vests, and wild accessories. I saw a girl who looked like a carbon copy of Cyndi Lauper.

Pity MTV doesn't play music anymore.

Heather S. Ingemar has loved to play with words since she was little, and it wasn’t long until she started writing her own stories. Termed “a little odd” by her peers, she took great delight in exploring tales with a gothic flair, and to this day, Edgar Allan Poe continues to be her literary hero. MTV PRODUCERS ARE FAGS!!

They suck, I'm watching the Gauntlet which I have been kind of keeping up with this season. Ok so it's the veterans vs. the rookies (from different Real World and Road Rules throughout the years). So the rookies are getting their asses whupped! So they lose team members and then they are supposed to compete in events that require strength! Ok they have like 4 guys against 8 veteran guys...how is that going to be fair?? Same with the girls, the rookies have like 4 rookie girls against 7 rookie girls! It shouldn't be called the Gauntlet!! It should be called "you're fucked if you lose any team members because we are MTV producers with our heads in our asses!" I mean really...I think that would get more viewers. ;-)
On the flip side
If the team with the less team members have to do an event where having LESS team members can work in their favor, well yeah...sure...that's a great thing. Those challenges are very rare and the Rookies keep getting creamed because they have less team members!!
Yes readers, reality TV is not all fluff, it really involves you and makes you think. ;-)
Oh and don't give me any flack about using the word fag...I am soooo NOT PC and your words will just be wasted on me.
Oooh, Rob and Big is on!
;-) peace

Robin Thicke

So I'm sitting here EXHAUSTED after golfing all weekend (I'm telling you Golf is the new crack!) Well at least for me...wait...I've never done crack, that didn't sound good. But you mean what I know! So N E ways...I'm on the couch, I want to put a DVD in but it's so far away and I can't reach it. The remote is SO much closer! So I grab it start flipping and fire up the laptop, the first thing I see on Yahoo is how Britney opened the MTV VMA's...and um...she kinda sucked. Well shit, I gotta check this out so I point the clicker to the VMA's, yes!! I catch the last couple minutes of her "opening" performance and it was BAAAD...my roomie asked me later how it went and I responded "she looked like a fat cow caught in the headlights of a tractor!" I don't know why that came up first thing, but it did. Now ok, she has had two kids and I understand she's not as tight as she used to be, with that being said...don't wear a two piece! She looked dazed and confused and then she ran off the stage when her set was done! Ugh! Time to hit the pipe? dayum!!
Oh, got off track...so one of the artists nominated for a VMA was Robin Thicke, ok, who knew his daddy was Alan Thicke from Growing Pains! I thought his dad was hot when I was growing up!! His son, is even finer!! So that's my pretty eye candy for tonight! ;-) peace
