Georgia Gubernatorial Race

The top REPUBLICAN candidates running for Governor of Georgia have LGBT issues on their mind(but not in the good way). It seems Karen Handel once supported domestic partner benefits and was endorsed by gay GOP group, the log cabin republicans. This doesn't sit well with the two other front runners. The VERY CONSERVATIVE  John Oxendine & Nathan Deal. Check out their latest commercials.

John Oxendine

Nathan Deal

So how does Karen Handel respond? By saying that she never joined the log cabin group and emails supporting issues like domestic partnership were written by campaign staff without her knowledge and by posting this on her website...

UGH! Sometimes it's so fun living in the Bible Belt. These narrow minded bigots can suck it.

I'll be voting for Roy Barnes...

While he isn't a pride marching gay supporter, he did reach out to the LGBT community during his first term as governor. He was the first sitting governor in Georgia to appear before a gay organization and he has expressed support for tolerance but has wavered on gay marriage and adoption. I guess that's better than nothing but it pisses me off that we don't have a truly viable candidate that is pro marriage equality.

I just have some final words for Oxendine, Handel & Deal...from Lily Allen's song, "FUCK YOU"...

so you say It's not okay to be gay,
Well I think you're just evil.
You're just some racist who can't tie my laces,
You're point of view Is medieval.
So...
Fuck You, fuck you very, very much.
Cause we hate what you do
And we hate your whole crew
So please don't stay in touch

I'm going to vote
Bob Out
